FUMED SILICA - Hydrophobic
Hydrophobic fumed silica, coated with polydimethylsiloxane PDMS. Great flowability, excellent electrical insulating ability, and no water absorption. Can be used as thickening agents, anti-corrosive system additives, and high-flowability powder additives. The hydrophobic fumed silica powder can be used as a fly floatant for fly fishing applications. A white powder, 99.9% purity, 100 m2/g surface area, and stored in a dry laboratory setting.
